After Apple and Samsung, new leaked images appear to confirm rumours that Oppo is planning to release a smart tag. Leaker Digital Chat Station has posted the images of what he claims to be the Engineering Test version of the upcoming Oppo Smart Tag.
According to the images, Oppo’s tracker sports a round puck shape and features a USB-C port for charging. However, Samsung and Apple’s trackers rely on CR2032 batteries which give battery life ranging for several months. The Smart Tag will also offer UWB (Ultra Wide Band) connectivity which brings more accurate location tracking information compared to Bluetooth tracking.
Oppo is holding a launch event on May 6 in China where it is expected to bring new Smart TV, OPPO K9, OPPO Enco Air, and a new Oppo Band. Oppo recently launched a new pair of truly wireless earbuds in Thailand, called the Enco Buds. Oppo Enco Buds are priced at Thai Baht 999, which is around Rs 2,404.

In addition, the upcoming Smart TV from OPPO will come with support for a 120Hz refresh rate and MEMC for smoother operation. It will also have several other features, like Local Dimming, Anti-Aliasing, and more.
