According to WABetaInfo, the WhatsApp features tracker, the time limit for the 'delete for everyone' feature in WhatsApp for Android beta v2.21.23.1 may be increased to an infinite period, up from the 4,096 seconds time restriction introduced in 2018. The tracker also warns that because this feature is still in development, it should be regarded with a grain of salt until beta testers get their hands on it. There's also no word on when this forthcoming feature will be released.
The 'delete for everyone' option was initially introduced in 2017, and the tool's time limit was set to seven minutes at the time. Users can erase messages from personal and group chats in WhatsApp using this capability. When a message is removed, it is replaced by a message deletion notification in the chat window.
According to another tip from WABetaInfo, WhatsApp for iOS is getting a new video playback interface. Users will be able to pause, play the movie in fullscreen mode, or close the picture-in-picture window as a result of this. This capability is apparently being received by some iOS beta testers on version 2.21.220.15 of the app. Late last month, a test version for Android devices was released. Furthermore, some iOS beta testers may notice a change in the way YouTube videos are played in WhatsApp, according to the tracker. These movies will be displayed in fullscreen mode by default.
