Black Shark is a brand that is known for its gaming smartphones. The company seems to be entering the true wireless earbuds segment with its JoyBuds line of earbuds. This information was revealed by an FCC listing and first spotted by 91mobiles. The news has revealed the design and colour options of the earbuds.
JoyBuds Design
The Black Shark JoyBuds can be seen in two different colour options in the FCC images – black and white. As far as the design is concerned, the earbuds seem to be inspired by Apple’s AirPods, especially the case in which the earbuds are housed. The earbuds, on the other hand, are a little more angular than those of the AirPods and feature accents in green and silver hues.
Case Specifications
The case comes with a Black Shark branding on the front and a USB C port for charging at the bottom. Further, an LED indicator is located on the front with a setup button on the opposite side, which is used to pair the earbuds with a device. In addition, the case has ‘Designed by Black Shark’ embossed on the rear end.

The manual suggests that the stem will have touch control sensors and Black Shark branding. The case boasts of 400mAh battery, while each earbud comes with a 35mAh battery. The device will use Bluetooth 5.2 for connectivity. While pairing a new device, a cyan coloured light will be lit. The model number of the JoyBuds is BE18.

The earbuds can be powered on just by opening the case. Once you put them inside the case, they will be switched off. Pressing and holding the setup button for two seconds can activate the pairing mode. Moreover, both the earbuds will feature touch controls. Users can tap on either bud to play or pause music. To answer a call, the user must double-tap on the earbuds. The JoyBuds packaging will include the earphones, a charging case, USB –C cable, a user manual and a QR code card.
