The WF-1000XM4 comes in Black and Silver colours, is priced at $279.99 (around Rs. 20,430)
The WF-1000XM4 now supports the LDAC wireless audio codec. LDAC transmits wireless audio at a high-resolution bit rate of 990kbps, which is up to three times higher than aptX. The earbuds also supports company’s DSEE Extreme and 360 Reality Audio technology.
The earbuds have new 6mm driver units with 20 percent larger magnets. The Integrated Processor V1 aims to enhance sound quality and reduces distortion. The new chip promises industry-leading noise cancellation while consuming less battery power. The XM4 are IPX4 rated, meaning they should survive splashes and sweating.
Additionally, the product also comes with Edge-AI DSEE Extreme processing technology to upscale compressed music in real-time to provide better listening experience.
The Sony WF-1000XM4 also comes with fast pairing support for Android and Windows 10. The company claims that one will get 8 hours of battery life with ANC enabled.
