A new 12-megapixel front camera is also included, which supports the Center Stage function that debuted with the iPad Pro last year. Anyone who has seen an iPad in the last few years will recognise the rest of the device, which includes the same home button, bezels, and single rear camera as previous iPads.
The new chip, according to Apple, is 20% faster than the one in the previous model. The 10.2-inch display has the same size and resolution as previously, but it also includes the True Tone function, which adjusts the screen's colour temperature in response to environmental lighting.
iPadOS 15, which was revealed earlier this year and includes improvements to the iPad's homescreen, app management, and multitasking features, will come standard with the new iPad.

The new iPad will be available for orders in the US starting today and will go on sale from Friday, September 24. Details about the India availability of both iPad models are yet to be announced.
Most consumers like the base-model iPad because it is the most cost-effective device in the selection. This year, Apple increased the base storage to 64GB while maintaining the $329 beginning price. The Apple Smart Keyboard and the first-generation Apple Pencil are both compatible with the iPad. It will be available in silver or space grey, and orders will begin taking place today, September 14th, with deliveries due next week.
