Vodafone Idea (VI) today announced the increased tariffs plans for prepaid users in India. The new plans will come into effect starting 25th November 2021. The new plans will start the process of ARPU improvement and help address the financial stress faced by the industry, said the telecom operator in a press statement on Tuesday.
"These tariff plans will allow VIL to continue improving India’s Fastest Mobile Network, verified by Ookla, the global leader in fixed broadband and mobile network testing applications. Vi remains committed to play its role in accelerating the realization of the Digital India vision of the government," noted VI in its press statement.
Just like Airtel, Vi has also increased its base plan price from Rs 79 to Rs 99. It'll offer Rs. 99 talktime with 1p/sec outgoing calls. There will also be 200MB data for users. The plan validity remains at 28 days. Users can visit www.myvi.in for more details

"In line with its commitment to providing its customers with simple and convenient products, Vi has curated an optimum range of feature rich plans for both voice and data. Customers can avail their benefits by selecting the plan best suited to their specific needs," the statement added.

The most popular plan of 1.5 per day data, which was priced at Rs. 599 will now be available at Rs. 719 for 84 days. The full 1-year recharge will now be available at Rs. 2,899 instead of Rs. 2,399 starting 25th November, 2021.
