The Asus ZenBook Flip S's 13.3-inch 4K OLED touchscreen, which supports a high resolution of 3840x2160 pixels, is another major highlight. The show is said to have excellent colour reproduction and 100% DCIP3 colour gamut coverage. In reality, according to Asus, this OLED panel has been calibrated to accurately reproduce colours in a 3D colour volume, ensuring that the panel covers the entire DCI-P3 colour gamut regardless of brightness.
The newest 11th Generation Intel Core Tiger Lake processors - i7-1165G7 CPU - are also included in Asus' new laptop's sleek case. The ZenBook Flip S promises to be a powerhouse, despite the fact that the company is not promoting it as such. This is due to the Flip S's compact and thin chassis, which houses an ultrafast PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD, up to 16GB of 4266MHz LPDDR4X RAM, and WiFi 6 (802.11ax) hardware.
The ultrabook also comes with a large 67-watt-hour high-capacity battery that keeps the laptop running. According to Asus, the battery also supports fast-charge technology, which allows users to recharge up to 60% power in as little as 49 minutes.
It's also very thin, weighing just 1.2kg and measuring 14mm in thickness. The Asus ZenBook Flip S also has the company's 360° ErgoLift hinge design, which allows the user to flip the display to any location they want. To ensure longevity, Asus says the hinge has been checked for over 20,000 open/close cycles.
The ASUS ZenBook Flip S is a beautifully crafted system that not only looks good but also feels solidly constructed for added protection. Asus's latest ultrabook features Red Copper diamond-cut highlights on the exterior, which are contrasted by a Jade Black finish.
